This year the Institute of National Remembrance will be at WGF in person, but only on Saturday! We're mentioning this up front because it may matter to many of you. We don't need to say much about IPN's work, as it's widely known, but many people are still surprised to learn that it also publishes board games!

Kolejka, Znaj Znak!, 303 and Niepodległa are just some of its titles. Anyone who loves history and board games can't walk past them. That's why we're happy you'll be able not only to try this publisher's games, but also to take part in two tournaments and explore the strategy of warfare on the board!

You can also visit the IPN stand, where you'll learn about its work, experience history first-hand and buy board games and comics!

We've known Smart Flamingo for a long time and always enjoy it when our paths cross. This time you'll be able to try their newest prototype, which is sure to reach the shops soon. Even better, we'll be running a tournament of one of their prototypes, presented by none other than the game's designer in person!

Dice Valley is a chess-like game in which two armies battle in a forest: the Long-Eared Kingdom and the Pack of Claws. Your units are large wooden dice showing the symbols of different battle formations. Keep manoeuvring them to lure your opponent into a trap or exploit gaps in their defence. You win the forest battle by eliminating all of your opponent's dice or by reaching their side of the board. The key to victory is making good use of each formation's strengths and of the terrain.

Bank Millennium is joining us once again. Let's be honest, money plays a very important part in everyone's personal and working life! So why not make things easier with an offer from one of Poland's larger banks, which certainly knows how to handle funds at every level? With no obligation, everyone can find out what Millennium has to offer board game fanatics. We all know games aren't a cheap hobby, so why not give your savings a boost, build up your finances, or simply get a convenient place to keep your household funds? Millennium will also be with us on Saturday only, so don't wait to find out what they can offer you!

Once again our partner is Moico, a fibre internet provider that connects people both online and offline.

Moico will provide a fast connection for the festival's technical side, as well as snacks and prizes for the best players!

With Moico, every move is a good move. Check out their lag-free connection with no strings attached!

As is tradition, Marajo will be at WGF with both the newest and the tried-and-tested games! We hope that, as every year, many of you will pick up games that bring joy for years and become a regular part of your autumn evenings at home.

As usual, you can also get ahead and take your time choosing gifts for St Nicholas' Day or Christmas, and there's no better gift than a family board game you'll enjoy together for hours!

You can rest easy when it comes to shopping!

We haven't forgotten WGF's social side, and last year many of you loved the small but remarkably rich stand of the Cząstka Ciebie Foundation. So we're sticking with what works, and they'll be with us again this year! Expect plenty of activities for the youngest visitors, and a chance to help children in need as far as you're able. Here are a few words from Cząstka Ciebie:

We are a foundation that cares for sick children and those most in need from all over Poland. Our support mainly covers paying for very expensive specialist therapies, starting treatment and buying the rehabilitation equipment they need. We organise fundraisers and run campaigns to raise money for our beneficiaries' treatment and rehabilitation. Thanks to donors and shared effort, we also co-fund medical and rehabilitation equipment. We work across all of Poland and are open to everyone in need.

Those who follow our work (you do know WGF is just the crowning moment of our year-round activity, right?) know very well that fans of various wargame systems have long had a home at the Local Activity Centre at ul. Chopina 9A. A professional modelling workshop was set up for them, probably the only one of its kind in Wrocław, and anyone can use it! So it's no surprise that wargames will be at WGF too.

You'll find out where to play, what to play and who to play with! At this edition you'll meet the most active of the groups we work with, devoted to The Lord of the Rings: Strategy Battle Game. This strong team (again from right here in Wrocław) will show you how to play, tell you more about the system and its secrets, and display their models, which won Golden Demon European Leg awards in 2025 and 2026! In short, you'll get to talk to true professionals who are as crazy about their hobby as we are about ours!

It's worth stopping for a moment, not just to see how miniature games differ from board games, but above all to meet people who can share a lot of valuable knowledge about their hobby.

As always, we're happy to host prototypes at WGF, and this time is no different! First up is Cyberpunk TCG, which is only starting out in Poland but has huge potential. It's really no longer a prototype, but a fully fledged, if little-known, game on our home market. Tomek, who promotes the system, will be available on Sunday and will walk you through this gripping title!

„Czy chcesz zostać kulturystą?” (a Polish pun on "bodybuilder" and "cult member") is a 4-player deck-building card game. You build your own cult by recruiting new members in the form of cards. The game is rather tongue-in-cheek, presenting many everyday professions in a satirical light as potential cult recruits. Like any self-respecting cult leader, you sacrifice your followers to earn favour with your deity, and the player with the most sacrifice points wins. The rules aren't too complicated either, so it's easy to get into! Sounds good? Give it a try and share your thoughts before the game gets its first full release!

Animals are a part of all our lives. Not everyone can have a pet, but we all come across them every day! Nobody can walk past a beautiful, well-groomed four-legged friend (or other pet) without noticing. But that takes a lot of time and patience with our small (and not so small) companions. That's why we're glad when someone can offer advice on caring for animals properly. Everyone who visits WGF'26 can find out how to plan a dog's diet, how to give it the right number of calories and which food suits it best. The specialists from Psi Bufet will help you with all of that! It's sure to be very tasty!
